"I am a writer, a storyteller, and I wanted Purple Crepe Myrtle to be a simple blog where I can express myself in a column-like format. Here I want to share my everyday stories, experiences, and opinions, hopefully providing a smile or a laugh for my readers. I mainly want to entertain through this blog, but I also want to use it as a platform to promote things I'm passionate about, such as animal welfare. I wanted the look of the site to be clean and easy to navigate, with a feel of fun and whimsy, and that is exactly what I got!"
